Service Agreement

When you request and schedule an air duct cleaning or mold remediation service with AH-CHOO! Indoor Air Quality, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Free Inspection & Estimates
\n\n
All estimates for air duct cleaning and mold remediation are provided during a free in-home inspection. Estimates are custom-quoted based on system size, contamination level, and scope of work. No pricing is posted online—all services are custom-quoted.

We schedule one free inspection per day to ensure quality service and accurate estimates.
\n\n
Service Timeline
\n\n
Scheduling: Once you book a free inspection, we schedule your appointment within our availability. Each service takes approximately 7 hours.
\n\n
Emergency Requests: AH-CHOO! does not operate as a rush emergency service. We prioritize thorough, professional work over speed.
\n\n
One Job Per Day: We complete one service per day to ensure your home receives full attention and quality workmanship.
\n\n
Payment Terms
\n\n
Payment is requested upon completion of service. We accept standard payment methods. Estimates are provided before service begins; there are no surprise charges.
\n\n
For large mold remediation projects, payment may be split into deposits and final payment upon completion. Details will be discussed during your free inspection.
\n\n
Cancellation Policy
\n\n
For Inspections: Free inspections can be cancelled with 24 hours’ notice at no charge.
\n\n
For Scheduled Services: Services cancelled with 24 hours’ notice will incur no charge. Services cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
\n\n
Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. We will work to accommodate your new preferred date.
\n\n
Liability & Limitations
\n\n
Scope of Work: Our liability is limited to the specific air duct cleaning or mold remediation service contracted. We are not responsible for issues unrelated to our work.
\n\n
Pre-Existing Conditions: If your home has pre-existing HVAC damage, structural mold, or other conditions discovered during inspection, these are documented and discussed before service begins.
\n\n
Warranty on Cleaning: We warrant that duct cleaning is performed to NADCA standards. If you have concerns about cleaning quality, contact us within 30 days of service for re-inspection.

- Louisiana: St. Tammany Parish, Ascension Parish, Livingston Parish, Tangipahoa Parish, and surrounding North Shore and Baton Rouge-area communities

Service area eligibility is confirmed during your free inspection request. Out-of-area requests will be declined with referral recommendations when possible.

NADCA Certification
\n\n
AH-CHOO! is NADCA-certified. This means our air duct cleaning and mold remediation meet industry standards for equipment, methodology, and safety. We pride ourselves on professional standards.

Customer Conduct
\n\n
We require professional, respectful interaction with our crew. Any disruptive, abusive, or disrespectful behavior toward our technicians may result in service cancellation without refund.
\n\n
Health & Safety
\n\n
Our crew follows all health and safety protocols while working in your home. You are responsible for disclosing any hazardous conditions (mold, asbestos, chemical exposure, etc.) before we begin work. If hazardous conditions are discovered, we will pause work and recommend appropriate professional remediation.

Mold Remediation Disclaimer
\n\n
Mold remediation addresses visible and accessible mold growth in ducts and HVAC systems. Hidden mold in walls, crawlspaces, or inaccessible areas may require professional mold inspection and remediation beyond our scope. We will recommend specialist referrals if needed.

Changes to Terms
\n\n
AH-CHOO! reserves the right to update these Terms of Service. Material changes will be communicated to customers before service scheduling.
